Naturally I recommend bbc.co.uk/news as the best place to catch up on what's going on around the world.

But I found www.bbc.co.uk/oddnews for a different slant on things.

Here's one about Chocolate 'linked to depression'

I also recommend subscribing to an English-speaking newspaper such as NY times, UK times, Guardian or Telegraph.

I DO recommend at least signing up for the newsletter, and doing some of the online papers.
